Beach Day

Today it was 90 degrees here so we went to the beach.

We had frozen yogurt afterward too. It was a win-win.

The boys had a blast running around, getting wet and sandy. I got a few minutes to not have to get onto them about anything.

The beach is one of our favorite parts of living here. Now if the sand would just stay at the beach instead of getting all over my car on the way home....

Counting Down

Sorry I've been slow to update about us since Joshua's birthday but between several bouts of illness running through the house and realizing over and over the shortness of time we have before the deployment coming up the few free days we've had we've been trying to just enjoy our time together.

 I was looking through pictures since I posted last and found this fun little excursion the boys and I took earlier this month. I was dying to go to the beach even though it was still pretty cold.

Since then it's warmed up considerably. Maybe another trip to the beach is in order!

We were here for sunset this day and a little late for dinner, honestly, but I think it was worth it.

It was a really beautiful day!

Hitting the Beach with Family

Almost officially caught up, these pictures are actually from this last weekend. Some of our family from North Carolina came up to visit. We all went out to the beach even though the weather wasn't the most conducive for splashing in the waves. Fortunately the kids didn't really care.
