The Field Museum

Stopping to mimic a mask. Not sure why he has his tongue out, but we had fun making faces like him anyway!
McDonald's for lunch about halfway through. Epitome of healthy, I know. But who can beat the toy?
Josh as a barnacle
Yep, it actually says that! We "shrunk down" to the size of bugs. I guess if you're a bug, this would actually sound appetizing!

So glad we went to this museum on the free day. It usually would have cost us over $50! It's not really as kid-friendly as I thought it would be, but we tried to make the best of it. The boys did have a good time at some points (even though a lot of it was Mom and Dad walking them around trying to get them excited in things that they saw as very unexciting). A good fun day overall. Nice to have something to do inside since it was raining today. Tomorrow we head to California so my next few posts will be from there. Please be praying for us as we travel. Hooray for a non-stop flight!!
